ARRIVAL PROCEDURES:
Aircraft arriving at
Middleton Field (GZH ) will use
established entry/landing pattern procedures for non-towered airfields.
CTAF frequency for Middleton Field is 122.70. Announce entering the airfield control zone on CTAF frequency
and remain on this frequency until clear of the runway after landing.
Unless wind direction and speed become a problem, all landings will be
made on Runway 01/19. Landing patterns for both runways will be west of the runway.
Aircraft arriving at the
Monroeville VORTAC (MVC) under IMC flight plans must descend to VMC prior to
entering the Evergreen Airport traffic pattern.

AIRCRAFT
WITHOUT RADIOS:
Aircraft
without two way radio capability will follow the stated arrival procedure.
USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN SEQUENCING WITH
OTHER AIRCRAFT IN THE LANDING PATTERN.
IFR
ARRIVALS:
Aircraft arriving at
the Monroeville VORTAC (MVC) under IMC flight plans must descend to VMC prior
to entering the Evergreen Airport traffic pattern.
LIGHT
SPORT and ULTRA-LIGHT AIRCRAFT:
Arriving
ultra-light aircraft will enter from the North to Northeastern direction from
Middleton Field (GZH) at or below 500 feet AGL.
Remain well clear of the arrival portions of the North/South runway and
the departure end of runway 10.
The ultra-light runway is the Eastern 2,000 feet of the parallel
taxiway for runway 10. All
patterns will be North of the Taxiway and East of airfield buildings.
Radio contact is not required, but if radio equipped, a listening watch
on CTAF frequency (122.70) is recommended. Light Sport aircraft have the option of following the Ultra-Light procedures and landing/departing on the stated taxiway, or following the normal GA Arrival procedures (landing on runway 01/19) and Departure procedures (departing on runway 10).
GROUND
PROCEDURES, ALL AIRCRAFT
Once clear of the runway, maintain a listening watch on frequency 121.65.
Ground Control and Flagmen will direct aircraft to designated areas.

airfield may be closed temporarily at various times for special air activities.
Dates and times will be announced by NOTAM.
DEPARTURES:
When
ready for departure, contact with ground control frequency (121.65)
before engine start is recommended.
Aircraft will depart on the open portion of runway 10 (Approx. 3,000’
remaining). Continue
straight ahead until 4 miles east of airfield before turning on course.
Do not over-fly the airport
below control zone altitude.
