Wednesday,

RV Camp Site with elec. and water service opens at noon. Under-the-wing camping is also open. A dedicated site is provided for under the wing camping. A permanent shower facility with both male and female facilities is located within the camping area. Plenty of hot water. Come early and relax under the pines. Please see the FAQ page for fee information.

Friday

8:00 AM: SERFI Officially Opens. Coffee and Rolls Served, Big Red Hangar.

8:00 AM: Ultra-light area open. The field is partitioned so that ultra-lights can fly continuously- weather permitting.

8:00 AM: Shuttle bus service to Evergreen motels begins.

12:00 NOON - 5:00 PM: Hamburger, Chips, and Drink Lunch Served, Big Red Hangar.

12:00 NOON Aircraft judging begins. Aircraft awards this year will include a best Alternate Power Plant Installation award. To be judged, the experimental installation must have been flown the required 40 hours and the aircraft flown into SERFI. No manufacturer entries please. As a reminder, all aircraft must arrive by 1:00 PM on Saturday to be eligible for judging.

7:00 PM FAA 'What's New With Light Sport Aircraft' Seminar, Mr. Van Stumpner, Big Red Hangar

8:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Bonfire.

Saturday

8:00 AM: Shuttle bus starts early morning pickups at motels. The last bus to motels departs the airport after last activity of the day.

8:00 AM: Pancake and Conecuh Sausage Breakfast Served, Big Red Hangar.

9:00 AM: "How (And Why) To Become a Light Sport Mechanic", Mr. Mark Murray, Seminar Hangar

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Fly Market Open For Business, Saturday Only, Seminar Hangar

10:00 AM: "Propeller Maintenance and Care", Airprop Specialists, Seminar Hangar

10:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Hamburger, Chips, and Drink Lunch Served, Big Red Hangar.

11:00 AM: "Dynamic Propeller Balancing", Mapoles Aviation, Seminar Hangar

1:00 PM: Deadline For Aircraft-To-Be-Judged Arrival.

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Fly-By Show (Airport Closed By NOTAM).

2:00 PM: "Magnetos: The 500 Hour Inspection", Mapoles Aviation, Seminar Hangar

3:00 PM: "How (And Why) To Become a Light Sport Mechanic", Mr. Mark Murray, Seminar Hangar

7:00 PM- 9:00 PM: Aircraft and Car Judging Awards Banquet, Big Red Hangar. After dinner, the tensions and expectations rise as we work through the awards towards the eventual Grand Champion winner. You don’t want to miss this exciting event!

9:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Bonfire in the camping area closes the evening.

Sunday

8:00 AM: Shuttle bus begins early pickups at motels.

8:00 AM: Pancake and Conecuh Sausage Breakfast Served, Big Red Hangar.

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Aircraft Judging Forum, FBO Classroom for those interested in the “ins and outs" of aircraft judging. Questions and answers format.

12:00 NOON: SERFI Officially Ends (See You Next Year!).
